Up on the roof of YOUR Grand

It’s a long and bumpy road for this historic building that turns 87 years old this year, but a devoted staff and a pool of talented volunteers are dedicated to preserving this heart of the community for many many years to come.

“Gallery” Grand gets a new roof

169 Main Street, known as the “Gallery” Grand, has been many things - a gift store, a cheesecake shop, and an art gallery. The roof leaked every summer rain and spring thaw making it unattractive to rent and difficult to use. It was time to take action. A portion of the expense was raised thanks to generous donors and a new roof was installed courtesy of Rootop Solutions. It’s impressive but expensive (another $5K is owed on the project.
